Recently in class, we focused on the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. Each asana practice focused on the quality of the elements (grounding, flowing, heat, etc.), and we ended with a delicious guided meditation that incorporated images and feelings of the elements. I promised I’d record these mediations.

This meditation focuses on earth and water. It’s a take on the “Forest Floor” meditation I posted earlier. This guided meditation will help create a balance of stability, flexibility, mental agility, mental strength, a feeling of expansiveness and security. Whew!! That’s a lot! Use it when you feel stuck, or uncertain, and not quite in your power, to get you back on track.
